    "Preset" allows only the built-in chat messages to be

    Pinochle cards are used to play that are 48 in number.

    Each player in the game will be dealt 15 cards, and 3 cards will be
    discarded into a pile separated from the play area. This pile is called the
    "kitty" or the "widow’s hand." Three-handed Pinochle has
    some elements of the Skat card game in it. The declarer leads the initial trick by playing any
    card they wish. You win a trick by playing either the highest-ranking trump card or, if there are no
    trumps, the highest-ranking card that follows the leading suit.
    Alternatively, a match can be played to 1,000 points, playing a series of deals.

    Both teams add up their total score from the melding and trick
    taking phases on a scoring board. If the team that
    made the contract failed to reach the total points bid, it is called "going set" and the number of points bid is
    subtracted from the team’s score. If both teams reach 150 points or above in the same round, the team that made the round’s contract
    wins.
    The bid that is passed by every player becomes the contract for the game, and the player
    who made that bid decides the trump suit. The team that made the contract also trades three cards between each other before the game begins.
    When trump is led, it wins the trick (unless a higher trump is played).
    When another suit is led, the card led wins (unless a higher card of the same suit or a trump is played).

    The highest card of the suit led or the highest trump card wins the trick.
    The difference between Cutthroat and Classic is that 15 cards
    get drawn to players instead, with a 4th set drawn known as ‘the widow deck’.
    The player with the successful bid gets to form melds and tricks
    with the widow deck after getting rid of 3 cards from that deck.
    Like most card games, 2 standard 52 card decks
    will be enough to play. Some cards you will need to take out if you do choose this option, but that will get covered in the setup part of the guide.
    If the bidding team earns enough points from their melds
    and trick taking to match or exceed their bid then all their points are added to the total
    score.

    Every ten (10), king, and ace collected as part
    of tricks is worth 10 points, as well as the last trick of the round.

    Thus a team can get a maximum of 250 points in the trick taking phase by getting all
    8 tens, all 8 kings, all 8 aces, and the last trick of the round.
    Pinochle strategy involves careful planning and decision-making.
    Players must consider their hand, their partner’s hand, and
    the cards played by their opponents to maximize their chances of winning tricks and
    scoring points.
    A bid followed by three passes establishes the
    bidding side, and the player who made the last bid announces trump without
    consulting the partner. All players then meld individually,
    although the scores are combined for each
    partnership. Each player is dealt 15 cards in five batches of three cards.

    Usually the last 3 cards left get placed face down into the "kitty" in the center of the tables.

    Assess your hand carefully and bid based on the strength of your cards and
    potential melds. A smart bid sets realistic goals for winning the trick and achieving your
    meld points.
    Expect more players, higher scores, and extraordinary melds
    like triple Aces and quadruple Pinochles.
    Imagine Hearts are trump, and your opponent leads the Queen of Spades.
    You’re holding the Ace of Spades and a few low Hearts, but
    your partner looks confident. Instead of wasting
    your Ace, you could play a low Spade, allowing your opponent to win the trick.

    But here’s the kicker – by doing so, you might have just set
    your partner up to trump the next trick and gain control of the hand.
    Every card game has a story, and every player has a strategy worth sharing.
